We are very excited to announce that we are developing our very own Orphan Care Ministry and we would love for you to be one the first churches to join us in helping children find homes in your congregation.

James 1:27 says, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”

We are called to live out this pure religion by caring for these hurting children.

Psalm 68:5-6 tells us that God is a father to the fatherless, a defender of widows and he puts the lonely in families.

Children don’t need to be homeless, sleeping in CPS offices, or in abusive homes. They deserve families that can bring them the healing that a Bible believing family can provide!

While we recognize that not every church can foster or adopt, we believe that every church can do something. Our prayer is to help churches find their something in foster care and adoption ministry.

Our ministry partner, Backyard Orphans, has been training some key leaders, who are foster and adoptive parents to be the lead team to engage pastors, equip churches, and empower communities here in our district.

One of the first steps that our team needs to get this going is for churches to fill THIS SURVEY.

This survey will help us to get a better foundation for this new ministry by learning who is fostering, adopting, who has a food pantry, clothing closet, and essentially getting to know who is already involved in orphan care in one way or another.

As an added bonus, those of you who complete the survey will be added to a drawing to win a $100 gift card. The winner will be notified by Monday, May 18th so be sure to submit the survey ASAP.

With your help, I believe that we can rescue children and help them find Jesus in Christian homes and empower our churches to care for hurting families.
